By using Battuta or booking with us on WhatsApp, you agree to these terms.

The service

Battuta arranges an independent ambassador (driver and guide) with a private car in Azerbaijan: airport transfers, full-day ambassador and car, day trips and multi-day packages.

Requests and quotes

• You receive a quote on WhatsApp for each request, showing the total price, the deposit and the remaining amount.
• A price or booking is binding only through Battuta’s quote message followed by its booking confirmation.

Deposit and payment

• The deposit is paid to secure the booking, either by card through the payment link you receive on WhatsApp, which confirms the booking as soon as the payment succeeds, or by bank transfer, which confirms it after the transfer receipt is reviewed.
• The remaining amount is paid to the ambassador in cash on the trip day, or on the last day for bookings longer than one day, in US dollars or Azerbaijani manat at that day’s exchange rate.

Cancellation and refunds

• Cancel 48 hours or more before the trip: the deposit is refunded in full.
• Cancel less than 48 hours before the trip, or no-show: the deposit is not refunded.
• If Battuta cancels or cannot provide an ambassador: the deposit is refunded in full, or we offer an alternative if you agree.

The car

We guarantee the car class and number of seats. Model and colour may differ depending on the available ambassador.

What is included

• A full-day booking includes 10 hours within Baku, fuel included.
• Extra hours and trips outside Baku are agreed in advance through Battuta.
• Not included unless stated in the quote: entrance tickets, cable cars, meals and accommodation.
• Airport pick-ups include one hour of free waiting after the actual landing time.

Contact with the ambassador

• We send you and your ambassador each other’s contact details 47 hours before the trip, or right after confirmation if the trip is sooner.
• Any change to the booking or extra arrangement goes through Battuta, so your booking stays protected.

Your obligations

• Give accurate information and be on time for pick-up.
• Do not exceed the agreed number of seats.
• Respect local laws, the ambassador and the car.

Liability

• Ambassadors are independent service providers whom we select and vet with care.
• Battuta is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond its control, such as weather, road closures or decisions by authorities.
• In all cases, Battuta’s liability is limited to the deposit paid to it.

AI assistant

"Yara" is an AI assistant and may get general information wrong. What is binding is the content of the quote message and the booking confirmation.

Changes

We may update these terms; your booking is governed by the version published when it was confirmed.
